About the Guest

George Wilkinson (author of Thrive) moved away from Edinburgh, his city of birth, to join the British Royal Navy and left having served during the Gulf war in 91.

He subsequently spent almost three decades working with leading organisations such as SKY, Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu and the NHS.

Here he performed strategic leadership, consulting and training roles, and now works with a variety of clients to help teams and individuals harness their real potential.

Although it may seem like it, Jessica hasn't always packed a powerful punch...

Growing up she struggled with her confidence and although she was always interested in kickboxing, she hadn't yet developed the mindset needed to start, let alone become a champion. 

 

Fast-forward to now and Jessica is a 2 x English Kickboxing champion and a 2nd-degree black belt, business owner, coach, mental health advocate, and an example to anyone who has a goal in life, that if you want to achieve success, you have to put the work in and 'just start'.

Last week I practised some Yoga on the beach, Hatha Yoga to be more specific and I really enjoyed it, it was a sort of, I guess you could say ‘break’ from the usual type of exercise I do, which is usually running and weight training. 
 
Now I’ll be honest with you, I was complete and utter pants. 
 
I like to think I’m in fairly decent shape, I’m definitely quite fit, but my balance, core strength and especially my flexibility is awful…and doing Yoga last week made this quite clear.

The Wim Hof Method

Wim is a 61-year-old Dutch extreme athlete noted for his ability to withstand freezing temperatures. 
 
I mean, he's so freaking cool that his nickname is The Iceman, how badass is that. 
 
 
Over the last few years, Wim teachings have become more well known, with many claiming he has helped them beat things such as anxiety and depression.
 
So in this episode, I'm going to break down the 'Wim Hof Method'.

Simply put, more income streams equal more security. 
 
And here’s a fact for you, it’s said that most millionaires have on average, 7 different income streams. Many of them passive too, meaning their money works for them, not the other way round. 
 
So how does one create more income streams and become more financially secure?
